The are two main characters in my book. They are Ruby and Whip Logan (her dad).
- Ruby is fifteen years old. She wears Payless shoes until her dad takes her shopping at this fancy store that famous people shop at. She misses her old town, her best friend, boyfriend, and Aunt Duffy .
- Whip Logan is a famous actor who knew he had a child but didn't want anything to do with her or her mom after she was born. He is a good cook and try's to buy Ruby things to make up for the time he lost of her life and wasn't there.
If Whip didn't want anything to do with Ruby before, why is he taking her now? It seems like this might be an important part of the story. I get from the title that her mother probably died, but her dad didn't have to take her, did he? This sounds like an interesting story line.
ReplyDeleteHe had to take her in she had no other family who could. And he wanted to now sense he had his carerr off and running.
